Dungeness is an area on the coast of Kent England, formed largely of a shingle beach and shelters a large area of low-lying land. It is a truly unique area of the UK and can appear to be very baron and isolated. Thankfully the weather was perfect for photography when visited There are many subjects to photograph here but I was attracted by the abandoned boats and winches, there was also houses made of old railway carriages and the famous Bumble Bee house The much photographed Bumble Bee House My favourite photo of the day A very old boat Definitely not going back in the water any time soon The New lighthouse https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeness_(headland)#Lighthouses An old railway carriage used for storage A and B Nuclear power stations of Dungeness https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeness_Nuclear_Power_Station The Old lighthouse now open as a visitor centre
